Pensacola gained national attention because of God's Salvation, a.k.a. Isaias, coming through Friday and Saturday, but like all news, it doesn't stick around when it isn't sensational enough.

With that, as media coverage lightens on resources and updates, PensacolaCitizens.org offers helpful information and hope for tomorrow, Tuesday, October 12, thanks to Mayor D.C. Reeves, who has offered clear, excellent communication for locals.

Escambia County Utility Authority is lifting the water boil notice Tuesday, another blessing for the dozens of eateries and stores that have provided water over the last couple of days.

Additionally, the United States Postal Service announced a temporary suspension of mail delivery and retail operations, with mail not reaching up to 60 ZIP codes until further notice.

As this report shows, the best places to find local news and help are Facebook and websites. PensacolaCitizen.org encourages locals to keep seeking assistance online.

Most of all, since God's Salvation has passed through Pensacola, this is the time to love our neighbor as ourselves and give all we can to those in need.
